You will never have stale coffee again when you use a pod coffee maker. Braun does manufacture this type of coffee pot and also supplies a Braun coffee pot replacement if you have any problems. You can use the pre-packaged pods to use in the filter or you can grind your own beans and measure the amount of grinds you want to use into a paper filter. There is also a power failure reset feature, so you don't have to restart the whole process if there should be a short power outage. This coffee pot brews coffee at the rate of a cup a minute, so getting 12 cups doesn't take that long.
